Adeleke is Duly Elected Governor of Osun State
In a groundbreaking ruling, the INEC has been ordered by the Osun Election Petition Tribunal to issue a certificate of return to Ademola Adeleke as the duly elected governor.
According to reports reaching flawlessview the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja mandated INEC to issue to Senator Ademola Adeleke, a Certificate of Return as duly elected governor of the state, Senator Ademola Adeleke was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the 2018 governorship election.

The three-man tribunal upheld the petitions filed by Adeleke and the PDP, challenging the victory of the All Progressives Congress and Gboyega Oyetola at the September 2018 governorship election. The objections raised by the All Progressives Congress APC and Oyetola was dismissed by the tribunal on the ground that Adeleke’s petition had merit. The tribunal also declared the rerun election as illegal.
