Breaking News – PDP Rally Turns Violent as Supporters Set Police Vehicle On Fire

A rally organized by the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Jigawa state yesterday turned really violent as a police vehicle was set on fire.

Reports reaching flawlessview.com indicate that every thing went well during the early hours of the rally held in Gwaram Local Government Area, the rally which was said to have been attended by thousands of PDP supporters and a former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido was proceeding smoothly until an incident that led to the shooting of a supporter.

The violence is believed to have started when a police officer, trying to maintain peace, shot one of the participants, the victim reportedly died and a mob at the rally then turned on the police officers at the rally, burning down a police vehicle.
