In a very hilarious turn of event, the Tanzanian authorities have asked for a probe into the nation’s fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

This is coming after President Magufuli was said to have instructed the Tanzanian security forces to check the quality of the kits before dispatching them for general use. The team that did the testing were said to have carried out random tests on random non-human samples, at the end of the tests, a goat and a pawpaw fruit both embarrassingly tested positive to the virus.

Following the development, the Tanzanian President, John Magufuli, ordered a probe on the country’s COVID-19 test kits to ascertain if the problem is fault test kits or misunderstanding on the procedures.

While speaking at the northwest town of Chato, President Magufuli said that he was sure that his personnel was not the problem but rather that the “technical errors” being experienced with the COVID-19 testing kits must be factory related originating from the foreign nation where they were imported from.
